Rental Concierge Job Description 

FLOATERS Recreational Rentals, LLC encourages an active lifestyle by offering Bicycle, Kayak and Paddleboard rentals at Lakeside Park in Big Lake, MN. FLOATERS gives everyone equal opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy the lake all summer long with affordable rentals. Our goal is to foster a relationship between lake comers and the beautiful local parks by offering more activity while visiting. We want to create genuine rapport with other local businesses by bringing a creative way to compliment what already exists in town. The Rental Concierge at FLOATERS will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency. The Rental Concierge should exhibit a genuinely excited attitude to help FLOATERS customers. They are patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk and understand the value of good communication skills. Rental Concierges can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless, and our Rental Concierges will gather that information and feedback and share with supervisors as needed. Problem solving should be a top priority, troubleshooting and investigating information may be necessary to answer customer questions or resolve complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Keep records of customer interactions, process customer rentals and file documents

 Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

 Take the extra mile to engage customers

 Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within appropriate time limits; follow up to ensure resolution as needed

 Encourage reviews on social media from customers

 Take photos of customers enjoying their rentals  Greet customers and share information about a FLOATERS rental opportunities  Maintain rental returns checking for damages and equipment being brought back in its entirety  Assist customers in getting rentals to and from the beach area  Manage sales of rentals and merchandise

 Rotating weekends

Skills/ Qualifications

 Familiarity with Square for managing rentals

 Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of guests

 Excellent communication and presentation skills

 Outgoing, personable interactions

 Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
